| Do you fish in small bass club tournaments, weekly rodeo's on your local lake, or one of the larger tournament trails that may have 100-200 boats. Elite Series Pro and customer, once told me that when you enter any tournament, be it big or small, only 10% of the guys fishing will be consistent enough to win. | On May 16, 2009 Team Fishman took 1st Place in the Toms Marine Tournament Trail hosted on Cherokee Lake in Morristown, TN. Our total weight with a 5 fish limit was 20.79 pounds. Our kicker fish weighed in at 9.29 pounds. The 9.29 lb. largemouth was caught on a 6" lizard, but what no one at the tournament asked what did you catch the other 11 lbs. on... Every fish we caught that day (except the 9.29 lb. bass) bit a Fishmans 1/2 oz. Custom Hard-On Football Jig in Bama Craw. I just want everyone to know that not only do we custom paint crankbaits, make our own custom jigs and spinnerbaits, but that we also fish them when money is on the line. My jigs put us into the elusive 10% bracket. |
